The application for the 2025-2026 Obama Foundation Scholars Program at Columbia University is now open. Applications close December 16.

Obama Foundation Scholars at Columbia University participate in an immersive program on Columbia’s campus in New York City that brings together academic, skills-based and experiential learning, designed by Columbia University in consultation with the Obama Foundation.

The Obama Foundation’s Leaders program is for 24-45-year-old emerging leaders working in government, civil society, and the private sector who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the common good. The program aims to inspire, empower, and connect regional cohorts of changemakers to accelerate positive and lasting change in their communities and throughout their region and across our world. Applications close December 18.
