"The Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan-Institute for Social Research expects to have up to three fellowship opportunities, starting on or about September 1, 2026. Two of these fellowships would be supported by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and one fellowship would be supported by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). Fellows devote most of their time to independent research. Positions offer exceptional opportunities for collaboration at the Institute for Social Research on major projects in the U.S. and overseas. The term of fellowship appointment will be for two years. Availability of positions is contingent on continued funding from NIH. Stipend will be commensurate with experience, based on levels mandated by NIH."
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until positions are filled, however prioritized consideration will be given to those applications that are complete as of midnight on December 1, 2025.
