"We seek a social scientist with a record of scholarly, programmatic, and institutional innovation; broad intellectual interests; and the ability to connect and collaborate across disciplines, institutions, and geographies. The President will lead efforts to nurture new generations of social scientists, deepen inquiry, and bring necessary knowledge to bear on urgent public issues."
