The Gaza Lecture Series

Archiving the Ongoing Gaza Genocide

Tuesday, November 17 12-1:30 PM
CCAS Boardroom (ICC 241) or Zoom
3700 O St. NW, Washington, D.C.

"Please register and join us for Archiving the Ongoing Gaza Genocide, an event part of the The Gaza Lecture Series. As Israel’s genocide in Gaza continues, a number of entities are doing the critical work of documenting the lives lost and destruction. In this panel discussion, Jehad Abusalim of the Gaza Genocide Project and Judith Tucker and Sharif Elmusa, academics who have worked with colleagues to create the online archive “Remembering Gaza Scholars,” discuss their work and its significance. The online archive keeps a record of the lives and work of professors murdered by Israel. This is a hybrid event that can be attended in-person in the CCAS Boardroom (ICC 241) or via Zoom. Lunch will also be served.

"This Gaza Lecture Series event is hosted by the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS), Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies, the African Studies Program (AfSP), the Department of English, and the Department of Theology and Religious Studies."
