From the Maryland Population Research Center
"The Future of Families Generation 3 study is enrolling children of the original 1998-2000 Future of Families and Child Wellbeing birth cohort and collecting data on the circumstances surrounding their births. This first part of the presentation will compare the health of mothers and children across two generations. Despite indicators suggesting that the more recent generations of mothers and infants should be better off, they appear to be worse off. The second part of the presentation will describe the study design and data structure." Julien Teitler is the D'Elbert and Selma Keenan Professor of Social Work and co-director of the Columbia Population Research Center.
