"Join the third edition of the annual conference REP LAC 2026: Race, Ethnicity, and Public Policy in Latin America and the Caribbean, which brings together specialists, researchers, academics, and policymakers to examine these topics from an evidence-based and regional development perspective. "In Latin America and the Caribbean, nearly one-third of the population identifies as Afro-descendant or Indigenous. However, persistent data and knowledge gaps continue to limit the design of public policies that effectively address challenges related to access to opportunities, services, and well-being. "A growing body of research is generating new evidence on the relation between race, ethnicity, and socioeconomic outcomes, offering valuable insights to support the design and implementation of more effective public policies across the region."
