Sociologists Working Everywhere (SWE) presents the Spotlight Speaker Series to showcase careers beyond academia. The series will focus on today’s applied sociology in industry and non-profit settings. 

Valerie Chepp, PhD, begins the series with: "Bringing Sociological Wisdoms to Applied Work Settings: The Case of Doing Implementation Research in a Large Integrated Health System." Chepp will discuss how she leverages the wisdoms of sociology in her applied work setting as an implementation researcher in a large integrated health system.

This series is open to the public but may be of special interest to sociologists in academia who are curious about alternative career paths and to sociology graduate and undergraduate students who seek insights on their range of job options.
