The Eastern Sociological Society (ESS) 2024 Annual Meeting, "The Social Side of the Climate Crisis" will be held February 29-March 3 at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center.

Join the American U Center for Environment, Community, and Equity on Thursday, February 29th for the ESS’s Opening Presidential Plenary on the AU campus from 4pm-6pm with a reception to follow. The plenary session will be held in the Abramson Family Founders Room, School of International Service (SIS) building.

Participants who also wish to attend the 6 p.m. DCSS event can walk across the quad to the entrance to Butler Pavilion (to the right of Mary Graydon Center) and take the elevator to Butler 6th floor.
