Please join us for an informal networking event to kick off our 2023-2024 schedule. Talk with other DC area sociologists about working in practice settings, publishing in The Sociologist, student engagement in DCSS, the state of the discipline, or whatever else is of interest to you.

Drop in at any time between 4 and 6 PM as your schedule allows. We will have light refreshments available.

The Lansburgh Building is located on 8th Street NW between D and E Streets and is Metro-accessible: Gallery Place (Red/Green/Yellow) or Archives-Navy Memorial (Green/Yellow). The D6 bus runs along E Street NW and the 70/74 along 7th Street NW. Enter through the main building door and you will be directed to the reception area.
