The Census Bureau’s Economic Measurement and Research Internship (EMRI) program seeks to hire interns in economics, sociology, statistics, and other social sciences to support the nation’s growing demand for information.
The Center for Economic Studies (CES) is recruiting for multiple positions and seeks interns who have successfully completed a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree to provide research assistance to PhD social scientists with research projects using confidential microdata.
The internship is an excellent opportunity, especially for social science graduate students or those who might be interested in returning to school to earn their PhD, to gain experience in conducting original social science research and in developing advanced programming and data analysis skills. Information about the EMRI Program is available online and in this PDF document.
The EMRI Program Coordinator will accept applications until Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:59p.m. EDT.
Questions on the program application process should be sent by email.
